Project Summary:

  • The project consists of a 65-story, 1,005 foot tall, 2.85 million sf commercial development situated on a 67,500 sf lot in Manhattan’s Hudson Yards district.
  • CCJV’s scope consisted of support of excavation, earth and rock excavation, foundation concrete, permanent rock anchors, and cast-in-place ConEdison vaults
  • Excavated approximately 19,000 cy of soil and 50,000 cy of rock. Installed approximately 1,500 tons of rebar and 11,000 cy of concrete.
  • Drilled and installed 150 ea permanent rock anchors
  • New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Brownfield Cleanup Program site. Excavated and disposed of over 6,500 tons of hazardous mercury contaminated soil and 3,000 tons of hazardous lead contaminated soil.
  • Poured 12,750 sf core foundation mat with areas up to 25’-6” thick
  • Poured 6 ea cast-in-place ConEdison transformer vaults
  • Managed multiple subcontractors to efficiently and safely complete the project (on time or ahead of schedule)
